Handcuffs to a couple who did “golden jobs” with illegal cigarettes and drugs

The unraveling of one armed robbery which had taken place on April 5, 2022 in Gas Station to the Vineyards“pulled out a sea bass” for the police officers of the Attica Security Directorate.

Specifically, for the robbery, a 40-year-old man was identified as one of the perpetrators, and after investigations he was located and arrested. However, his 40-year-old wife was also arrested with him, as she was found in a search of their home large number of contraband tobacco products.

The couple was arrested yesterday morning in Ampelokipi and is now accused of violations of the law on addictive substances and the National Customs Code. At the same time, the 40-year-old is accused of robbery.

In a search carried out at the 40-year-old’s house, in which his co-accused was also found, as well as in two other houses, they were found in total and seized, the amount of 25,440 euros, 4,330 packs of contraband cigarettes, 235 packs of contraband tobacco, 11.2 grams. cannabis, 3 mobile phones, club, cartridge and notebook with handwritten notes for sums of money.

Two vehicles used to transport the contraband tobacco products were also seized.

The arrested were taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Athens.
