In the office of the 35th investigator Eugenia Tzorgzatou, the first two witnesses testified on Thursday for the part of the case with the 3 dead children from Patras, which concerns the deaths of 3.5-year-old Malena and 6-month-old Iris. At the same time, the accused Roula Pispirigou is preparing her line of defense with Alexis Kouya who represents her.
In particular, the medical examiner Christina Tsakona, who had drawn up the initial forensic report on Malena’s death, testified, as well as the pathologist Christos Eftychiadis, who gave an opinion on the 2 dead children, in the context of the new forensic report by Mr. Karakoukis and Mr. Kalogria .
The witnesses remained at the investigative office for about 3 hours, while the interrogation will continue tomorrow, Friday, with medical examiners Mr. Karakoukis and Mr. Kalogria.
Then, Angeliki Tsiola and Christina Tsakona, who drew up the initial findings, will testify, while then Roula Pispirigou will follow, who this time will be guided by Alexis Kouya.
In the defense of Roula Pispirigou will be, as dikastiko.gr has written, Alexis Kougias who had mentioned that the sole reason for accepting her defense “was the finding by me of unprecedented forensic, pathological-anatomical, witnessing and police options”.
Mr. Kougias speaks of “unprecedented pre-investigative – police bias and a “surveillance” approach to elements of the case file”, while at the same time he notes that “the leading scientific personalities of the Professor of Pathological Anatomy of the Greek Academy of Medical Sciences, Mr. Agapitos, and the leading Greek Medical Examiners, etc., were abolished. Tsakona and Tsiola”.
“They overturned without scientifically evaluable forensic and pathological anatomical findings after exhumations, the compiled from a scientific point of view forensic and pathological anatomical opinions and findings and, unfortunately, with the tolerance of those who had to react in a legal way, a case file was created that allowed all those who over time for selfish purposes they destroy the presumption of innocence in major and historical cases of political interest to pre-sentence the accused, ignoring that only regular Judges and criminal Courts have the authority to do this”, the well-known criminologist had emphasized
At another point in his announcement about Roula Pispirigou, Alexis Kougias states that “no lawyer, medical examiner, pathologist, journalist has the right to exterminate any of our fellow human beings through teletrials”.
