As the relevant announcement states, “the performance was presented by the DI.PE.THE.Crete in 2020, in daylight, in archaeological sites of Crete and in the archaeological site of Kerameikos, while due to the restrictive measures for the pandemic, they were not given the scheduled performances at the archaeological sites of Milos and Delos.
The performance concerns the well-known myth of Phaethon, as recorded in Ovid’s “Transformations” (translated by Theodoros Papaggelis) and the surviving fragments of Euripides’ tragedy (translated by George Sambatakakis).
