“As the note touches the word,

And oxygen life.

Music fights with verse in a battle for love, man, society, existence, love, hate, passion and nature.”

With performers Christos Konstantopoulos and Dora Beleri, the concert of poetry set to music entitled “Like a shiver…” will take place on Saturday, September 3, at Villa Kolla (Koukouli, former TEI of Patras) as part of the Honorary Evening of 5th Patras International Poetry Festival.

The official evening will start at 20.00 with the honorary awards and the tribute to Tito Patrikios, followed by readings by participating poets from Greece and abroad and will conclude with a concert. The artistic Curation of the music night of the festival is signed by Yiannis Anagnostopoulos.

Participating are Giorgos Georgiadis Mandolin (vocal member), Sani Peta Mandolin (vocal member), Yiannis Anagnostopoulos Guitar, Thomas Pallas Guitar, Andreas Zafeiropoulos Piano. Themis Martekas Krousta, and the orchestrations have been edited by Yiannis Anagnostopoulos and Giorgos Georgiadis

The music ensemble “Punto vs Word” was created out of the need to highlight the role of the note in the word. He performs with the musical ensemble “audible member” (1st and 2nd mandolin) and is flanked by a piano, two guitars, percussion and two performers. The eternal “conflict” between the note and the verse, is the reason for the investigation of Pounto vs Word, as it is transformed into melody and song.
