The third person involved in the bullying case against a 14-year-old student in Pyrgos was also brought in at noon on Wednesday.
Initially this morning after an operation carried out by the police authorities, two of the three young perpetrators were identified and brought to the Ilia Police Department, while a little later the third one wanted by the authorities was also brought in, following the complaint filed by the 14-year-old victim of fierce bullying.
He, in fact, “broke” his silence today, and speaking to ilialive.gr, he revealed the reason why he was systematically harassed by the group of minors.
This incident started from the school, after they burned it down and blamed us. Me and two other kids. We went to the police and showed the video and that’s why they charged me, said the 14-year-old characteristically.
“One day I was out with my friend in the square and they were following us. And I told him run and he didn’t run because he told me they don’t come here. They caught us, they were talking gypsy to each other and started to bore me. I left for about a month in the village, because I thought things would calm down.
I came here again and they found me outside again and again they pressed me and I was threatened by (states name) and told me that if I don’t save him, his brother and another child in court I will be in worse trouble and it will be a long time before I get out of the house,” he added.
The 14-year-old also referred to why he had not told his mother about the incident:
I hadn’t told my mother about the scene and told her that we just had a fight and there were only two slaps, because I thought it was something simple. But when he saw the video he was horrified and that’s when we went to the police. I didn’t want to give names or anything because I was afraid things would get worse.
“Today they caught them, they called me, I feel a little happy because finally this case will be over and I and all the kids who are pulling this thing will be quiet. I’m calmer now, I’m a little scared but I’m better…”, he concluded.
