“The Builders and Related Trades Union of N. Larissa denounces the police violence against the striking workers of the “MALAMATINA” factory in Thessaloniki.
The government, after giving gifts to the employer of the “MALAMATINA” factory by canceling debts to tax and insurance funds, instructed the repression forces to beat and injure strikers who are fighting against the layoffs and for a collective agreement.
The repression and violence against the workers, which is used throughout the ages by the respective governments, is the living proof that the only thing that interests the rulers are the “businesses” and the profits of the entrepreneurs that are made on the crushing of the rights and needs of the workers .
We stand in solidarity with the strikers of the “MALAMATINA” factory.
The only way to defend our lives and rights is mass, organized, class struggle. Every workplace should become a focus of struggle, assertion and rejection of employer dishonesty.
