A horrific incident occurred at noon on Wednesday in one of the most central locations of Lamia, opposite the Courts, on Kapodistriou street.
There, a man around 55, punched a young woman after a verbal confrontation he had with her.
The man cursed and then hit the woman with punchesthrowing her into a department store window, before passers-by and the police officer on duty at the Courts intervened.
The DIAS crews quickly arrived at the scene and a few minutes later a patrol car brought the two people to the Department in order to testify what exactly happened.
The episode took place during rush hour in front of dozens of passersby, who couldn’t believe their eyes with what they were seeing.
