Illegal drug addiction center detected in Hippocrates State – Newsbomb – News

5 citizens, aged 46, 45, 42, 41 and 36 years old, were arrested, as part of the spontaneous procedure, yesterday afternoon in Hippocrates Politia, by police officers of the Oropou Security Department of the Attica Security Directorate, for violations of the laws on addictive substances and on provision of mental health services.

As part of an investigation by police officers of the Oropou Security Department regarding an illegal drug addiction center operating in the area of ​​Hippocrates State, the defendants were located and their criminal activity was certified.

According to the Police, the 46-year-old, together with the 45-year-old, had set up a company that provided counseling services and support at home in Hippocrates.

After a police operation, the house was located, where 14 people and 3 employees lived.

From searches carried out inside the illegal rehab center and the homes of 3 of those arrested, among others, were found and confiscated:

* 4,343 medicinal tablets without the required medical prescriptions,

* the sum of 13,300 euros and

* 11 receipt pads along with handwritten notes.

Those arrested were taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Athens.
