The news of the arrest of 12 people (11 Greeks and 1 Albanian), including 4 students, for drug trafficking in schools in Patras, as part of the dismantling of a criminal organization, following an extensive operation by the Patras Narcotics Prosecution, from Friday at noon, is a shock. , until late at night.

The information states that 6 parents were also arrested for neglecting the supervision of a minor, while drug trafficking took place within the school complexes located near Marouda Square.

The police found, among other things, a precision scale and a quantity of drugs in a specially designed area (tile roof gutter) within the school complex, while hashish, cocaine and MDMA, commonly known as ecstasy, were found in a PPC clock! Among other things, a sum of money was seized.

According to the same information, a characteristic of the harsh action of the organization is the testimony of a student who allegedly claimed to the police that they beat him when he failed to sell drugs to students and many times he was forced to hand over to the leading members the pocket money of 2 euros that was given to him daily by his father, so that he could save the wood.

It is worth noting that the local Police had been dealing with this case for quite some time, waiting for the right moment to act and for obvious reasons choosing yesterday when they closed the schools for the Easter holidays.
