A case was filed against two nationals
It was investigated by police officers of the Security Department of the Kastoria Security Sub-Directorate, a case of fraud, which took place at the beginning of January 2024, in the city of Kastoria.
In particular, in the afternoon hours of 03-01-2024, an unknown person, pretending to be an accounting office employee, contacted by phone a kiosk employee owned by a 45-year-old local woman in the city of Kastoria and, presenting false facts as true, convinced him to give him the codes -3- prepaid cards, with a total value of -300- euros, which he then credited to his personal account, which he had created in a prepaid card company.
After a thorough investigation and appropriate use of information from the above-mentioned police officers, the information of two citizens, aged 26 and 59, was identified, against whom a criminal case was filed for fraud.
The file that was formed will be submitted to Ms. Criminal Prosecutor of Kastoria, while the preliminary investigation for the case was initiated by the Security Department of the Kastoria Security Sub-Directorate.
