She chose an elegant wedding dress by Selias Krithariotis. It was a stunning mermaid gown, made of appliqué French lace and polka dot silk tulle hand embroidered with ostrich feathers. He was waiting for her wearing a white suit and having a few good friends by his side.

The ceremony took place in the chapel inside the luxurious Kivotos hotel in Ornos, which belongs to the groom’s family. The couple’s best man was their friend Niki Pallikarakis and Michalis Nezis, who were also the witnesses in the their civil marriage which had taken place a year before in Gythio. Among the guests were Christina Kontova, Sakis Tanimanidis with Christina Bomba, the bride’s best friend Vaso Laskarakis, Evangelia Syriopoulou and many others. The ceremony was romantic, with the church decorated with colorful flowers, reminiscent of a fairy tale.

“I had never dreamed of weddings and wedding dresses.. and especially during this summer the stress, and running around organizing my wedding combined with my work and countless responsibilities as a new mother, made me many times I ask myself “why am I going through all this?” Now I know! I would do it again even if it was 100 times harder! It was the most beautiful party ever and yes, for me my wedding dress was the most beautiful wedding dress in the whole world” wrote the actress in a post she made on social media, three days after her wedding.

Their two children

The two children Maximus and Sienna, is for them their whole life and their absolute priority. “With two children it’s perfect. In the first one because I struggled a lot, I had fear, insecurity and guilt, in the second one I had fought all that, it came out more effortlessly, it’s more carefree. The small sees the big and they play together” Athina Oikonomakou stated in an earlier interview.

Regarding the choice of names, the actress has revealed that “we chose the name Elektra because of my husband’s mother. As for Sienna, in my first pregnancy, before we found out it was a boy, we were on holiday with Philip and we started looking for names. So we ended up with Maximus for a boy and Sienna for a girl. When our son came into our lives, we named him Maximus – Spiros and, now with the little girl, we didn’t even discuss it. We didn’t have in our mind that we should definitely give her a name that celebrates. I hope she likes it too.”

The baby’s christening was colorful, with pastel colors in the pool flowers, favors and decoration. Her petticoats were white lace, with a pink ribbon at the waist. Her shoes looked like dancing shoes and had white laces to tie at the calf.

A tasteful minimal residence in the Northern Suburbs

The former couple maintains a beautiful home in the Northern Suburbs, which appears to have been decorated with love and attention to detail. The actress is very active on Instagram and, through her personal account, she has shown us some of her favorite spots. The decoration is simple, with dominant elements being gray and wood.
