The Deputy Mayor of Social Protection of the Municipality of the Holy City of Messolonghi, Mr. Yiannis Koutsotheodoros, accompanied by the President of the Municipal Council, Mrs. Zizi Fouda, the Head of the Autonomous Department of Social Protection Ms. Zaimi Efstratia and the executives of the social structures (Social Grocery and Community Center) on 4/26/2024 on Friday at 10:00 a.m., visited in view of the holidays Easter to the patients of the General Hospital of Messolonghi “Hatzikosta”.
The manager Ms. Eleni Filippopoulou, as well as the Director of the Nursing Service Ms. Angeliki Akrivopoulou welcomed the Municipal Authority and the staff of the Municipality for their visit and warmly praised the initiative of the social structures to offer handmade Easter candles for Happy Easter to the patients and staff of the Nursing Unit clinics.
The patients accepted this initiative with particular joy and gave wishes and congratulations for this pleasant surprise that happened to them during their hospitalization.
The implementation of this action is, on the one hand, the minimum act of solidarity and empathy for the mental and physical condition experienced by the patients, but also an honor to recognize the work and contribution of the Medical, Nursing and Administrative Staff to fellow human beings.
The Deputy Mayor Mr. Koutsotheodoros thanked the Administration and the Medical Staff for their warm welcome, wished them Health and a Happy Easter to themselves and their families.
