The testimony of a police officer about the dialogue and the unprecedented episode of Floros-Grammenos

The unprecedented events that happened on Wednesday inside the Parliament are described by the policeman who stepped in the middle to separate Konstantinos Floros and Vassilis Grammenos. The police officer recounts the heated exchange he heard the two MPs had and describes how the Hellenic Solution MP ended up injured.

It is recalled that after his arrest, the independent member of parliament (formerly of the “Spartiates”), Konstantinos Floros, was released on the condition that he not approach Vassilis Grammenos at a distance of less than 50 meters.

According to the LiveNews broadcast on Mega, the officer described:

“Leaving the Parliament hall, MP Vassilis Grammenos told me “gather up the independent of the Spartans so that we have no more”. I asked him which independent MP he meant and before he could tell me, Mr. Floros came out of the Parliament and then they started arguing.

Specifically, according to the police officer’s testimony, the following was said:

– F.K.: What’s your problem with me; Tell me.

-G.B: Do us a favor and get out of here.

– F.K.: You’re cursing motherfuckers, pack up.

-G.B: I’ll do what I like, leave me alone.

As the police officer mentioned, he first saw in his field of vision Vassilis Grammenos and a little later Konstantinos Floros, who came out of the Plenary hall, beside himself.

“The two MPs were trying to push each other but they couldn’t as I was between them. Then Floros passed his right hand over me, catching me with a headlock-like grip at the height of the nose, as a result of which he threw him down”, describes the policeman, according to Mega.

“I caught him from the front. There was also the policeman, the guard of the Parliament, who had also put his hand in between. Mr. Grammenos was sticking to me with his body in front of me and I was saying to him “what did you say? Say it here in front of the policeman. Why don’t you say what you said inside and tell the cop out front, too?“, said Konstantinos Floros himself.

In his statements on the same show, Vassilis Grammenos refutes the claims of Constantinos Floros and maintains that he decided not to follow up, because he respected the space he was in, in contrast, as he says, with his colleague.

“I am responsible for my actions, but beyond that, because of my indignation at this vulgar expression about my mother, who is the most sacred thing I have in the world, she carried me for 9 months, she knows what has taken”, says K. Floros.

In those seconds that the policeman was trying to separate the two deputies, putting an end to this episode, a number of deputies were watching with their mouths open as what was happening in front of them, with shouting and insults causing disturbance.

“As long as I was with Mr. Floros, he was yelling at Mr. Grammenos: “You swear at moms, I will f…, my sister almost lost the child because of you, I will c…”. Mr. Grammenos was on the floor shouting “oh my nose”».

Vassilis Grammenos was hospitalized at the Air Force Hospital with a broken nose and injuries to his hand.
