The minors in Larissa suddenly arrived in the area and implemented what they had in mind. They set up barricades with bins but didn’t stop there. They started throwing firecrackers and dynamite on the balconies of houses, while cursing those who came out on the balconies and asking them to leave. In fact, residents in the area of Nea Smyrni, where the scenes unfolded, reported that this was not the first time they were unable to sleep because of what was happening under their houses. “At the same project, we met again as spectators,” said a resident of the area.

Another night of terror and… vigil for the long-suffering district of Nea Smyrni in Larissa. Riots and finally the intervention of the police did not allow the residents of the area to calm down on the evening of Thursday, April 25. As a resident of the area complains, young juvenile vandals set up barricades in the streets with bins and started scattering the waste.

They threw dynamite on the balconies and cursed the residents who came out in an attempt to find out the reason for the disturbance. The police were then called and the situation defused.

In a related complaint made to onlarissa.gr, the following is mentioned: “In the same project, the residents of Nea Smyrni will be sleepless for one more night, after a group of young juvenile vandals created barricades with buckets in the streets, scattering littering and cursing residents.

They didn’t just stop there, they caused a ruckus by throwing dynamite on the porches of homes, disrespecting sleeping elderly and crying children. The police were notified, who rushed immediately with patrol cars and at their sight the crowd of vandals disappeared.”
