Thousands sang, remembering past heroic struggles of the working class in Greece, they sent a message at the same time that they continue today with greater determination and momentum, for everything that workers and their children need today. It was also a night that “united” the songs that have been engraved in the memory of the workers and the people by older composers and performers with those of the next and younger generations, all having the same common “thread”.
Many and endless applauses of enthusiasm, as when “our summers are short and endless winters” was heard, as well as in other special moments of the concert, such as when hearing the “Gathering of the EFEE” and a series of other songs, with the audience not stops participating. “Unbearable evening and weeping mountains” was sung loudly in the song “The Stranger”, as were the “Complaining Words”, with the excitement growing bigger and bigger as time went on until the last song, where no one wanted it to end the big concert.
It was a night when young people, but also older people, joined their voices with beautiful melodies and songs, which they wanted to keep engraved in their memory with photos and videos, but also with their own participation. Finally, the “present” was given by a delegation of the KKE, led by Sotiris Parisismember of the KE and secretary of the OP of Western Greece, as well as a large delegation of the Municipal Authority, led by the mayor of Patras Costas Peletidis.
