At arrest of a 25-year-old man who several days ago had terrorized a minor girl in Heraklion the security officers advanced.
According to his information ekritiit is about a Pakistani man who was identified as the perpetrator of an attempted rape against a 16-year-old girl, in the area of Therisos.
The incident, according to a related complaint made to the Police, occurred at noon on April Fool’s Day when the 25-year-old entered the ground floor apartment where the girl lives, breaking the window.
There, as always stated in the complaint, he threatened her with a knife and attempted to perform sexual acts.
The minor resisted and the assailant fled.
However, the police officers of the Heraklion Police Department identified him after investigations and proceeded to arrest him as he did not have documents to stay in the country.
The statute of limitations has expired for the crime of attempted rape, but a case file has been filed.
