In the last 24 hours, the Police made five arrests for cases of domestic violence in areas of Western Greece, while eight case files were filed for similar cases.

In particular, a man was arrested in Patras, who was reported by his wife for a domestic threat.

In Pyrgos, a man was arrested, against whom a case file had been filed for domestic violence. The defendant was reported by his spouse, his partner, stating that he caused her physical injuries and verbally threatened her.

Also, a man was arrested, in the area of ​​Andritsaina – Krestena Municipality, Ilia, who was reported by his sister-in-law for a domestic threat. In a search made by the police at the home of the arrested, they found a double-barreled shotgun and a carbine, which were taken from his possession.

In Messolonghi, a man and a woman (husbands) were arrested, because they sued each other for illegal domestic violence, insults and threats.
