The 38-year-old, who is considered the natural perpetrator of the robbery, was sentenced to pre-trial detention with the agreement of the investigator and prosecutor, while at the same time a 34-year-old, who had been accused of simple complicity in the case, was released with restrictive conditions

The apology of the two men who were identified as having participated in the robbery committed on (8/4) against a 28-year-old employee of the OPAP agency, on 62 Martyron Avenue in Heraklion, was lengthy.

They are a 38-year-old and a 34-year-old man, who were brought before the investigative authorities today in order to apologize. Specifically, the 38-year-old, who is considered the natural perpetrator of the robbery, was sentenced to pre-trial detention with the agreement of the investigator and prosecutor, while at the same time a 34-year-old, who had been accused of simple cooperation in the case, was released with restrictive conditions.

In particular, he was imposed the conditions of a ban on leaving the country, appearing twice a month at the police station and paying a cash guarantee of €3,000.

It is recalled that for the case of the robbery, one more man is wanted, specifically a foreigner against whom an arrest warrant has been issued.
