The final results of the lottery for the beneficiaries of the Tourism for All 2024 program have been announced.
The aim of the Tourism for All 2024 program is the immediate strengthening of the country’s domestic tourism and balanced visitation in the regions.
The results of the draw were as follows:
Final List of Beneficiaries (drawn applications)
Provisional List of Beneficiaries (total of successfully submitted applications)
Cases of persons with disabilities who are included in the Final List of Beneficiaries (drawn applications), but are currently granted a reduced amount of aid, due to the impossibility of locating them in official electronic Registers, have the possibility of submitting a relevant Certificate through the Program’s electronic platform.
The objective of the program is the direct stimulation of domestic tourism in the direction of a balanced distribution of visitors in all regions and throughout the year.
Those beneficiaries who were drawn, will issue an immaterial digital debit card, which they will use for their stay at any tourist accommodation in the country they choose without any bureaucratic procedure.
They will be informed via sms and e-mail according to the information they stated when submitting the application, while the results of the lottery as well as the temporary and final list of beneficiaries can also be accessed through the program platform and the ministry’s website.
It is recalled that according to the data of the platform, 972,893 applications were submitted, which proves the huge interest in the program. In detail, the subsidies are analyzed as follows:
- Prize winners with a basic aid amount of 200 euros: percentage 78.12%
- Prize winners with an increased aid amount of 300 euros: rate 18.77%
- People with a disability of 67% and over with an increased aid amount of 400 euros were drawn: rate 3.11%
The total number of winners according to the available budget is: 107,204 beneficiaries.
In her statements, the Minister of Tourism, Olga Kefalogianni, emphasized that “with the completion of the “Tourism for All 2024” program, we have confirmed our commitment to a tourism accessible to as many of our fellow citizens as possible, setting expanded income but also more social criteria.
We thus ensure that more beneficiaries will have the opportunity to explore and enjoy the beauties of our country by the end of the year. We are working, he added, methodically and with a plan to stimulate domestic tourism and lengthen the tourist season for the benefit of local societies and economies, for the benefit of the many.”
