Pavlos Baritakis: The cooperation with the Minister of the Interior brings results for the Municipality of Viannos

The developments for the Municipality of Viannos are positive, as was shown through the meeting that the Mayor Mr. Pavlos Baritakis had with the Deputy Minister of the Interior Mr. Theodoros Livanios.

During the meeting between the two men, which took place in a positive atmosphere, a series of issues were raised that have to do with infrastructure, everyday life and, of course, the essential financing of the Municipality of Viannos.

More specifically, the Minister responded to the issues that have to do with the implementation of the “Tritsis” Program, which concerns the additional funding for the completion of the Pervola – Chondros Biological Cleaning, but also the extraordinary funding from the submission of a proposal to the Prevention Program and Risk Management from Theomenies.

He also gave the “green light” for the immediate hiring of three people from the temporary to the permanent board, so as to meet the needs of permanent staff in the Municipality of Viannos.

“After the meeting that took place in a very good atmosphere, I would like to personally thank Mr. Theodoros Livanios, but also the Minister of Rural Development Mr. Lefteris Avgenakis, as his contribution to the satisfaction of our requests was important, since the he himself contacted the Minister about the issues of our Municipality in the direction of their implementation”, said Mr. Baritakis after the end of the discussion with Mr. Livanios.

It is worth noting that the commitment of both sides is that the good cooperation that exists between the Municipality of Viannos and the Ministry of the Interior will continue in the future, with Mr. Livanios even mentioning that the door of his office is always open, in order to help with any problem you can so that it can be resolved.

For his part, Mr. Baritakis, in the context of the cordial cooperation and the good relationship that has developed, invited the Minister to visit the Municipality of Viannos and to attend the anniversary events of Honor and Remembrance for the Holocaust of Viannos, which will take place on next September.
