The two men who were arrested for shooting and killing a dog, in the area of ​​Thermi municipality, in Thessaloniki, are being prosecuted for a felony.

The two defendants for the shocking killing of a dog in Thermi, Thessaloniki, were referred by the public prosecutor’s office to apologize to an investigator tomorrow Saturday (27.04.2024) and until then remain in custody.

It is about one 47-year-old breeder with union action and the his 44-year-old friend, who are prosecuted, as the case may be, for killing a companion animal and moral turpitude in this actas also for violations of the Arms Act.

As stated in the case file, Mr The 44-year-old, acting on the orders of the 47-year-old, executed the dog with a shotgun because – according to what the latter testified to the police – the four-legged dog was entering his stable and being aggressive with his animals. According to information, the unfortunate dog was owned by another breeder in the area.

In addition to the case filed against them, those arrested were imposed the prescribed administrative fines.
