What does it want? KKE in European Parliament since he disagrees with her, some wonder, giving an ironic even sarcastic tone to their voice. How wrong they are! They believe in that old widely and wickedly held opinion that communists should stay in their shells and not come out…
And yet the KKE has and must have a place in the European Parliament. Because it is not bound by big interests. Because he’s not afraid to tell the truth. It must show its competitive “presence” especially against the Europe of monopolies, this paradise of lobbies and dry money corruption. Europe and its countries need it if they want to regain something of their lost dignity.
If we want to revive the spirit of the Enlightenment (and not of Maastricht), which started there. Because the peoples of Europe are going through the deepest night in our century. But they haven’t said the last word yet. The current of questioning mainstream politics tends to grow stronger, particularly here in the South. I personally hear “it doesn’t work anymore”, very often from citizens. That is why in the national elections they turned towards it KKE. Ready to fight. I personally saw this struggle turn into solidarity when vultures and crows swooped down on my ancestral home and plundered it in a completely and demonstrably illegal way.
The KKE stood by me in those critical hours. His children LET’S GO and her KNE stood against the checkmate and the incredible state violence. Her wives OGE Zografou they spread a protective net over us, since the way they dragged us, we didn’t even have time to take our clothes or even our medicines from the house! Yes the KKE did this! He did not allow the brutality to break me. Hold up my life and my dignity.
I wonder in which favored state, in which western democracy that is inspired by him European Enlightenment, so much fascism is allowed to nest within its society… The question is rhetorical, but we want it to exist. Something like a hidden hope… But the truth is here in front of us. Are there any favored countries in Europe today when, in the face of a wave of people’s protest, they find immediate repression and drastic limitation of people’s freedoms, demonstrations and strikes…
The people are paying dearly for capitalist development for the profits of the few, the industrialists, the shipowners, the big traders, something that stems from the EU itself, whose policy is co-shaped by all the bourgeois liberal, social democratic and far-right parties in the European Parliament.
That is why a voice is necessary, clear, clear, courageous and strong to be heard everywhere! Now that the current of questioning the dominant policy is becoming stronger, the way of protest, of strong disapproval of the EU and its servants should be opened there in the centers of the – often fatal for our country – decisions. Our country has paid dearly for political decisions that have proved painfully disastrous, as well as the servitude of some of our own elected officials who rushed to obey to the letter. So let’s not forget.
Personally, I will fight next to it Communist Party of Greece and here and if I am elected to the European Parliament, who did me the great honor of nominating me as a candidate in the June elections. “For dreams to take revenge”, as Mikis often said when singing in “Axion Esti”.
