The recent decisions by the European Union (EU) on two-year visas are changing the game Schengen multiple entry to tourists from India.
The demand from Indians for EU travel is expected to increase by up to 15% in the coming months. As revealed by EaseMyTripthe interest of Indians to apply for a Schengen visa and travel to the bloc increased significantly.
The platform has already recorded a 12% increase in the number of Indians interested in vacationing in one of the Schengen member states, including our country.
With the longer validity visa, Indian travelers will be able to enter the Schengen area multiple times a year. However, they must follow the 90/180 day rule.
Greece among the top holiday destinations for Indians
Based on demand so far, France, Greece, Switzerland, Italy and Germany are the most preferred destinations among Indian travelers.
THE Hellas and the Italy are the most sought-after destinations among summer vacationers.
On the other hand, France and the Germany are in the travel plans of many Indians due to the Olympics and Euro 2024 to be held in these two EU countries this summer, respectively.
Apart from the above mentioned countries, Indians are interested in visiting some new destinations which were not so popular till now like Croatianthe Portugal and the Slovenia that attract their attention.
