THE Yannos Perlegkasone of the most remarkable actors of his generation, collaborates, for the first time, with the group of acrobats and dancers “and as it moves“, in a new upload of Aristophanes’ comedy “Frogs“, which will be hosted from May 17 and for a limited number of performances at Theater Flows.

The Aristophanic “Frogs” are presented as a contemporary narrative audio-visual delirium, through the stage composition of a live escape room. The universal fear and awe of the Underworld is comically recreated, seen as a journey by boat, in unknown waters, but all of which are reminiscent of everyday life. Binary patterns and opposing dipoles emerge: Prototype and copy, animal and human, god and mortal, master and slave, complicity and conflict, interdependence and mutual annihilation.

The god Dionysus and his servant Xanthias descend to the Underworld to bring back Euripides, the great poet. The god Dionysus, only disguised as Hercules, will dare to enter the dark Hades and Xanthias is the first slave in the story to take a leading role. The famous brekekex coax coax gives its euphoric tone to the comic journey of the heroes, which, however, is not a simple exotic wandering, but the comic version of a descent into Hades. It is the arduous course of initiation. The initiate does not learn but suffers.

The team brings this archetypal duo to a modern escape room, a lively puzzle game where players are locked in one or more rooms. The goal is to escape within a short period of time and simultaneously solve a series of puzzles and missions.

Dance, acrobatics, speech and music are entangled in a narrative delirium of random mistakes and great ambitions. Figures, trying to adapt to their environment. A choreographed slapstick comedy.

Christina Souyoultzi, Damopoulos Nontas, Yannos Perleggas, Antoniou Kleon, Vassiliou Philippos, Maria Athanasopoulou, Mouzaki Fani, Linardou Antigoni, Pappa Ileanna and Soldatos Panos are participating in the show.
