Stolen Cerberus XI: Impressive images from the joint Greece-US exercise in Attica

From Monday 15 to Friday 26 April 2024 and in the context of the Military Cooperation between Greece and the USA, the bilateral exercise called “STOLEN CERBERUS XI” took place under the coordination of the Special Warfare Command (DEP) of the Greek Army.

We remind you that for this exercise the American C-130J behemoths came to Elefsina. The American Air Force once again this year was “present” at the Elefsina Air Base for the “Stolen Cerberus” exercise with three C-130J aircraft.

On the Greek side, personnel and members of the Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering and the Navy’s Undersea Disaster Management (DDYK), personnel of the Parachute School (SCHAL) of the GES, as well as transport aircraft of the Air Force participated in the exercise, while on the American side, personnel of 37th Airlift Squadron with three C-130J aircraft.

The exercise took place in the wider area of ​​Attica and during its duration air cooperation, dropping supplies on land and sea, evacuating the wounded were carried out (Medical Evacuation – MEDEVAC)as well as free fall and static harness jumps, which contributed to increasing the level of combat capability and interoperability between the participating Greek and US Armed Forces.
