The new Corsa continues the tradition and is now available in two purely electric versions with a power of up to 156 hp and a range of up to 405 km.
The sixth generation of the German mini it was renewed a few months ago and along with the aesthetic and equipment changesalso got mild hybrid versions with a thermal gasoline engine.
The Opel Corsa, however, is one of the few models in the category that is also offered in a purely electric version for zero-emission transportation, with the updated version of the model still offering this option to the prospective buying public.

The renewed Corsa Electric now available in two power and battery pack versions, with the basic bringing a front electric motor of 136 hp and the most powerful 156 hp. They are combined with a single-speed automatic transmission, but carry a different capacity lithium-ion battery.
The 136 hp version gets power from a 50 kWh battery (46.3 kWh useful) and the 156 hp version from a 54 kWh battery (50.8 kWh useful). The autonomy they ensure in the German city car is 357 km and 405 km respectively, with a full charge on an 11 kW wallbox needing a little more than five hours in the first case and a little less than six hours in the second. If clipped to a fast charger (100 kW), both versions will take 30 minutes to charge from 0% to 80%.

The new Opel Corsa Electric 136 PS 50 kWh available in three equipment versions (Edition Pack, GS and GS Pack), while the 156 PS 54 kWh in two (Edition Pack and GS). All have, among other things, a digital instrument panel and a multimedia system with a color touch screen, automatic air conditioning, heat pump and 16-inch alloy wheels with aerodynamic inserts.
End, the electric Opel Corsa benefits from a tax cut which concerns corporate electric vehicles and are fully exempt from registration fees and traffic fees, circulate freely in the Ring and are exempt from public parking fees for 2 years.
Furthermore, it is covered by a five-year or 75,000 km warranty, with that of the battery reaching eight years or 160,000 km. The starting price, excluding the €8,000 “Moving Electric 2” subsidy and the €1,000 conventional technology car retirement subsidy, is set at €39,400 for the 136 hp version and €41,400 for the 156 hp version.
