A scenario that provided for the intervention of all involved services to free the injured and workers from the building of Mylos Pappa after a seismic tremor of 6.8 degrees on the Richter scale was implemented today by the municipality of Larissa.

The scenario of the exercise provided for the release of the injured from the second floor of the building, the assistance of a specially trained EMAK dog to locate the trapped, as well as the creation of a temporary point where first aid was provided to the injured in the courtyard of Mylos tou Pappa.
In statements by mayor of Larissa, Mr. Than. Mamakos, who attended the exercise expressed his satisfaction with the participation of all parties involved and stated that such exercises are always useful to maintain a degree of preparedness throughout the disaster response mechanism.
