The Rector’s Authority was trapped in the Rector’s building by students who created a narrow cordon blocking the exit. Rector Christos Bouras broadcasts an SOS signal, whose protesting students are also guarding the car as a sign of increased security with a clear message that they intend to let him remain locked up. According to information from “C” these are students of the Civil Engineering Department for whom the Senate with a unanimous resolution condemned the act of pro-feminism by the President of the Department Professor Triantafyllos who, together with other students who join them, are protesting outside the Rector’s Office, blocking the exit to the Rector’s Authority. Under this regime, the predetermined honoring of the Gold Olympian Nikolaos Kaklamanakis, which is scheduled for the afternoon at 18:30 in the Odysseus Elytis hall in the Rector’s building, seems to be dynamited. The Rector, in his statements to “C”, communicates the current situation to everyone and calls on the political system to assume its responsibilities.
