Nikos Aliagas is in Athens for his participation in the Olympic torch relay ceremony.

In his statements on the show “Your Breakfast”, the presenter who lives permanently in France, once again expressed his love for Greece. Initially he said: “It’s very exciting to be in Kallimarmaro, because this is where the Olympic games started, it’s a melting pot of cultures and I’m glad that as a French Greek born there, but with all my DNA here, I can put a little stone in this effort”.

Along the way, the presenter talked about the feelings he has every time he returns to his homeland. In particular, he declared: “I am always moved when I return to Greece, because I don’t know, it has a light, it has an energy, so many elements that I also carry within me, in my soul, I am always moved when peoples unite.”

When he was asked about the possibility of living permanently in Greece at some point, he replied: “In order to return to Greece there is a condition that I have left Greece. I never left Greece, I carry it inside me like a compass. This back-and-forth between France and Greece that I have, fills me inside. I would like a little more Greece but I have obligations. I don’t know, maybe in my retirement.”
