Arrests for methamphetamine trafficking in the Athens area

Two Iranians were arrested for drug possession and trafficking in the wider area of ​​Attica and 6 kilograms of methamphetamine were seized.

Two Iranians, 29 and 35 years old, were arrested, in the context of the traffic, in the center of Athens, by police officers of the Narcotics Prosecution of the Attica Security Agency, for violating the legislation on addictive substances and violence against employees.

As part of the actions of the Prosecution, for the arrest of drug dealers-traffickers and after investigating information regarding the activity of the accused in the trafficking of methamphetamine, in the wider area of ​​Attica, the accused were located and their criminal activity was certified.

In particular, police officers spotted the defendants driving a vehicle in the center of Athens and called them for a check, during which the 35-year-old put up a strong resistancein order to escape arrest.

After a search carried out in their possession and inside the car 6 kilograms of methamphetamine, the sum of 100 euros, 2 mobile phones, a precision electronic scale, a dose meter, petrogas, a spoon and a container were found and confiscated.

Those arrested were taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Athens.
