The people of Larissa participated in the 40th Panhellenic Conference of the Hellenic National Section of the International Police Association (IPA), in Rhodes, where representatives of Local Commands of the International Police Association from all over Greece and from foreign I.R.A. National Sections were present. namely:

of Cyprus, Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Israel, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, Estonia, Malta, as well as the European Association of Friends of the Cyprus Police.
From the Local Administration of Larissa, the president Kalaboukas Achilleas, the first vice president Zachos Sotirios, the gen. secretary Liakou Aphroditis, Ms. c. Secretary Haretidou Maria, the treasurer Lambrou Theologis, the Hon. treasurer Zourladanis Dimitrios and the president of the Audit Committee Paschalakis Maria, while the head of the Forensic Service of Larissa, Leontari Roubini, participated in the Local mission.
During the work, an honorary distinction was awarded by the Social Affairs Committee of the National Department for the effort in the Local Administration of Larisa, and as, among other things, it is noted in the announcement “through our actions, to put into practice the principles and ideals of Our union “solidarity-mutual aid”, always with the support of our members”.
