An event was completed, for which dozens of people worked hard. Teachers and children. The challenge was great, as 4 different clubs had to cooperate for the first time, and a large number of children from most of the local primary schools had to be involved in the activities. And to have a simultaneous support of all this material through projection on the projector, which was done in a way that even professionals would envy.
With a common goal to promote reading, we tried to highlight how much enjoyment increases when one reads books in the language in which they were written. Something that goes through a good knowledge of foreign languages.
The teachers and children involved did a real feat over the course of a week, using their knowledge of the 3 most popular foreign languages: English, French and German. They presented their favorite books to the audience, prepared literary texts, dramatized scenes from novels, worked on a project that was recorded and presented on video, and finally read an excerpt from the beloved Little Prince in the original and 3 translations.
Another proof that work is being done in our city in the field of foreign language education, by those who serve it in both the public and private sectors.
