On Friday, April 26 at 10:30 a.m., the Command handover ceremony took place at the 124th Basic Training Wing of the Air Force, in Tripoli, where Brigadier General Grigorios Diolatzis handed over the Command of the 124th PBE to Commander Margaritis Moumouris.
The delivery-receipt ceremony took place in the outdoor area where the other events such as the swearing-in are also held. Among others, the event was attended by the Deputy Governor of Arcadia, Konstantinos Mandronis, and the Deputy Mayor of Tripoli, Primary Sector, Mr. Ioannis Hasapis. Political, religious and military authorities also attended.
The outgoing commander Grigorios Diolatzis who was particularly moved by his departure from 124PBE.
In the agenda, he mentioned the goals he had when he arrived at the Basic Education Wing in Tripoli, but he also mentioned what he experienced in the unit. Finally, he thanked his family for their support in this difficult and very important project that he had undertaken.
The new commander in the agenda stated that he is fully aware of the honor and responsibility assigned to him, pointing out that the new conscript will play a primary role. He emphasized that he will work with a service, team spirit so that the conscripts acquire all those supplies that will enable them to meet the high demands of the country’s armed forces.
