Greece will get know-how from France for the management of vehicle traffic

The Deputy Minister of Transport was informed about the positive results recorded in France by the use of new technologies in traffic management and especially in road safety, during a two-day visit, held together with the General Secretary of Transport Giannis Xifaras.

Specifically, they visited the facilities of the Ministry of the Interior and the Police in Rennes and Paris in order to meet with officials who analyzed the policy followed in the field of road traffic management, the significant reduction in traffic and the improvement of road behavior, the latest 20 years.

In the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, together with the digitization of services, further exploitation of technology is planned with the aim of significantly improving national performance in the field of road safety.

The ministry as emphasized will use the conclusions and information obtained from the visit in the National Road Safety Strategic Plan, which we are implementing.
