Tragedy in the early hours of Friday in Elefsina with a 31-year-old man losing his life and a 25-year-old man being injured in a traffic accident.
According to ERT, the fatal traffic accident occurred at the junction of Kanellopoulou and Mourikis streets near Elefsina Beach.
According to the first information traffic accident occurred at 1:30 a.m. when the car driven by the 31-year-old for an unknown reason veered off course, hit a truck and overturned.
As a result, the 31-year-old driver breathed his last as it was found at the Thriasio hospital where he was taken, while the 25-year-old passenger who was freed by firefighters was transported and treated in a critical condition at the Janeo hospital.
The Coast Guard is conducting a preliminary investigation into the traffic accident.
