THE Courtney Cox talked about her 19-year-old daughter, Coco Arquette and the mistakes she has made as a mother.
The famous actress of the series “Friends” spoke on the podcast “Minnie Questions” and explained that she was not as “stable mother” as she would like.
Reflecting on the past, she stated: “I didn’t want to interfere in her relationships, even though I knew if they were going to be good or not, because she would get mad at me.”
She then explained that she wanted to let her daughter face all of life’s trials on her own in order for her to mature.
However, she now regrets it and says she should have trusted her instincts as a mother. “I realized that I should have trusted myself and intervened. She doesn’t say I made her who she is, but I think I contributed somewhat. I’ve learned to have boundaries and I didn’t want to test hers. However, I’m talking about many years ago, I think I should have been more firm as a parent.” he stated.
