EDE for what conditions of hospitalization of Dimitris Kallianou was ordered to the hospital
New Democracy MP and meteorologist Yiannis Kallianos is expected to take legal action after the death of his father, Dimitris, at the age of 79.
The father of Yiannis Kallianou ended up in the Attikon hospital, where he was hospitalized for the last 24 hours after he had previously made very serious complaints about the conditions of his father’s hospitalization, which caused the order for EDE by the commander.
The ND MP, speaking to Mega, appeared overwhelmed, declaring characteristically: “I don’t know where I am. I’m confused. There is nothing I can do. I have no strength to walk. I think of my family, life will go on but the pain will remain. I have never experienced such pain before. I experienced it today. If you don’t lose your own person, no one understands the pain”, declaring that those who are to blame will not know where to hide. The representation of the Kallianou family has been undertaken by the well-known criminologist Alexis Kougias.
“The NHS was ready to receive my father in some ICU. The thing is, the director of Attikus didn’t put my father. They thought he was very good and his exams were great. On the contrary, they told us that he was doing better”, described the MP of New Democracy and continued “my doctor, who is a doctor, fell at the feet of his colleagues to help our father and put him in ICU”.
The Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, responded to what the ND MP complained about, who emphasized that “in the case of Yiannis Kallianos’ father, all protocols were followed”, while he then added that “Greek doctors are good doctors”.
“The picture of the problems does a great injustice to the efforts made in the National Health System”, added the Minister of Health.
