Consumers will need to put their hands deeper into their pockets for their holiday trips, even if they are within Crete, as the cost of fuel is skyrocketing. And yesterday, in all 4 regional units, the average price of lead-free remained above 2 euros, with Rethymno being ranked among the 5 most expensive regions of Greece.

In the market and in Heraklion, traffic is expected to peak in the coming days with consumers stocking up on the essentials for Easter and children always remaining a priority.

The to-do list of the days is long with consumers erasing and writing and doing the relevant calculations in order to make the necessary purchases by the Resurrection.
