In the framework of activities for Book Day 23the April, as established by UNESCO, the Central Public Library of Larissa “Konstantinos Koumas” organized an event on the theme “Reading what we love” today, Thursday afternoon, in its auditorium.

The event was coordinated by Ms. Irini Kollatou, a philologist seconded to the Public Library.

The president of the Ephorate Council Mrs. Eleni Marina Xinopoulou addressed a greeting. As she noted in her statements, “the purpose of today is to promote the book and promote reading. World Book Day tells us to keep alive the flame of knowledge and imagination through the pages of books.”

Ioannis Marangoulis, musician, accompanied the event with his guitar.
