The Mary N. Raptou Schools in collaboration with the Deputy Mayor of Culture of the Municipality of Larissa organized this afternoon the concert “Hymning the Divine Passion” in the hall of the Municipal Conservatory of Larissa.
As mentioned by the managing director of the M. Raptou Schools and deputy regional governor Nikos Raptis “this concert is the culmination of the children’s preparation for Easter and together with the parents and the children we all sing hymns together”.
In the first part of the concert, the student choir of the Schools performed Christian songs, which are perfectly in line with the spirit of the day and at the same time glorify the children’s soul.
The Serbian choir “Kir Stefan Srbin” also participated in the concert.
In the second part of the program excerpts from the oratorio “The Social” were heard as well as hymns related to the journey from the Crucifixion to the Resurrection of the Lord.
The artistic direction and curation of the event was the conductor Nikos St. Efthymiadis and the piano accompaniment by the School Music teacher, Joanna Arevythi.
