Health and safety inspectors carried out 490 inspections in March.

In 64 cases work was suspendeduntil the implementation of the prescribed employee protection measures.

In addition, 10 lawsuits were filed and fines of 64,354 euros were assessed. Most of the violations related to the failure to take measures to protect against falling, when carrying out work at height, on the ends of slabs, horizontal openings and elevator shafts.

At the same time, between March 19 and 24, labor relations inspectors carried out targeted inspections in building engineering and construction projects. Audits were carried out in 247 projects and 321 employers and 85 violations of labor legislation and 31 cases of undeclared work were found.

The infractions in question concerned the failure to keep books of daily records of employed personnel, the failure to keep a copy of the E12 announcement form for each working day, employment on a day off, employment on Sunday, false submission of information, failure to register overtime employment in ERGANI and non-submission of a written declaration and status of secondees. The administrative sanctions imposed amount to 388,400 euros, of which 304,000 euros relate to undeclared work.
