The drivers of the vehicles moving on Attiki Odos afternoon and night hours they have to deal with a series of points in which they are performed extensive heavy maintenance work.
Specifically, the works along its entire length, which have started since the previous summer and are performed in different time points each timetaking place on these days:
- Between Junction 11 (L. Kifisias) and Node 10 (L. Kymis) in the direction of Elefsina.
- Between Node 9 (St. Heraklion) and Node 10 (L. Kymis) in the direction to Airport/Markopoulos.
- Between Junction 13 (L. D. Placentias) and Node 14 (L. Anthousas) in the direction to Airport/Markopoulos.
- In the area of Junction 17 (Kanzas) in the direction to Airport / Markopoulos.
- Between Junction Y3 (Democritus) and Node Y1 (Catechist) in the direction of Athens – Center.
Furthermore, closeddue to heavy maintenance work, will remain: the Kanzas entrance (Junction 17) in the direction to Airport / Markopoulos, as well as the exit towards L. Katehaki (Junction Y1) in the direction of Athens – Center.
Specifically:
- It will remain closed from 22:00 on the evening of Thursday 25/04/2024 until 06:00 on the morning of Friday 26/04/2024the input from Kanza (Node 17)in the direction of Airport / Markopoulos.
During the above blockade, drivers from Kanza bound for the Airport / Markopoulos, in order to enter Attiki Odosthey can choose either the entrance from L. Marathonos (Node 15), or the entrance from the Sweet Water Junction (Node Y6), or the entrance from the Peania Junction (Node 18).
- It will remain closed from 22:00 on the evening of Thursday 25/04/2024 until 06:00 on the morning of Friday 26/04/2024the exit of the Western Regional Avenue Ymittos towards L. Katehaki (Junction Y1)in the direction of Athens – Center.
During the above blockade, the drivers they can continue their course towards Alimou – Karea road, to exit at next exit to Kaisariani from where they will turn around in order to move via Alimos – Katehaki Street towards Athens – Center.
Attiki Odos, in the announcement it issued, thank you very much for your understanding and with everyone’s safety in mind begs the drivers to show particular attention to relevant marking and yes obey the speed limits in the sections where heavy maintenance work is in progress.
