The news on the weather front looks good

The African dust that plagued us has subsided and now we are all waiting for the latest news about the Easter weather.

Clearchos Marousakis gave a first glimpse of what to expect, with the conditions remaining… unsettled, but not capable of spoiling Easter.

“Maundy Thursday until Easter Monday is very likely to encounter unsettled weather conditions mainly in the west, central and north and especially midday and afternoon hours when we may have storms and showers. Specifically, the areas that will be affected are: Ionian, western mainland Greece, western and central Sterea, Macedonia, Thrace” said the OPEN meteorologist.

Forecast for tomorrow, Friday, April 26

Generally clear weather. In the midday and afternoon hours, clouds will develop in the continental areas and there will be local rains or showers in the western and northern mainly mountainous areas.
Visibility in the morning and evening hours will be limited in places mainly in the west.
Winds to the west will blow from west directions 2 to 4 Beaufort. In the east it will be west northwest 3 to 5 and in the southeast Aegean locally 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly in the west and north.
It will reach the western and northern continents of 18 to 21, the rest of the continents as well as the island country 20 to 23 degrees Celsius.

Forecast for Saturday, April 27

Sparse clouds, in places and at times thicker with the possibility of local rain or showers in the warm hours in the west and north.
Winds will blow from north directions in the Ionian 3 to 4 and in the Aegean 5 to 6 and locally 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will not change appreciably.

Generally clear weather, but gradually clouds will develop in the northeast and later in the rest of the eastern mainland, Evia, the Cyclades and Crete.
Winds will blow from north directions 3 to 5 and in the Aegean 6 to 7 and locally 8 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly mainly in the west and north.

Forecast for Holy Monday, April 29

Clouds in the northeast, the eastern mainland, Evia, the Cyclades and Crete with a few light local rains. In the rest of the country generally clear weather.
Winds will blow from north directions 3 to 5 and in the Aegean 6 to 7 and locally 8 Beaufort.
The temperature will be kept at the same levels.
