It is “Europe” in anti-labor legislation, imposed by the directives on the arrangement of working time, “welfare”, labor relations – rubber, for work as, whenever and wherever the employer wants.
It is “Europe” in the rules of the “Stability Pact” and in the monstrous primary surpluses it foresees, in order to water the “leftover trees” of capital by taxation and precision on the backs of the people.
It is “Europe” in the “memorandum of memoranda”, which goes by the name of “Recovery Fund” and foresees more than 600 unpopular prerequisites to give 33 billion “hot” money to capital in loans and subsidies for its investments.
It is “Europe” in the “green transition” strategy, which plunges the people into energy poverty, devalues productive forces with de-lignitization and skyrockets the prices of electricity and other products.
It is “Europe” in “green” taxes and in the increase of “own resources”, that is, the taxes that the EU collects for its coffers, to finance subsidies and capital tax breaks. But the loans taken by the EU on his behalf should also be repaid.
It is “Europe” in transforming Insurance and pension into an individual case, in increasing the retirement age limits that will “hit” again until 2030, while the further privatization of the Insurance systems is also being planned.
It is “Europe” in war involvement, implementing to the letter the decisions for even greater shipments of war material to Ukraine. The next shipment contains white phosphorus weapons and in the background …S-300 and “Patriot”, as revealed these days without being denied.
It is “Europe” in participating in imperialist missions, such as the one in Eritrea, for the interests of shipowners and transport groups. With enormous risks for the crew and more generally for the people, who become the target of the rival imperialist centers in the EU and NATO.
It is “Europe” in the privatization and commercialization of Health, Welfare and Education. In the operation of hospitals as “self-sufficient business units”, which is responsible for the current mess in the public Health system.
It is “Europe” in the “liberation” of rail transport, which led to the crime in Tempe.
It is “Europe” in the cost-benefit policy of anti-flood and anti-earthquake projects, which leaves the people unprotected from natural disasters and risks. This policy burns us in the summer and suffocates us in the winter…
It is “Europe” in the famous “rule of law”, which vindicates the employer in record time when it appeals against a strike, but it can torture for years the worker who was maimed at work and asks for his right, with the risk of finally getting out and guilty!
It is “Europe” in the repression of immigrants and refugees, implementing the reactionary EU-Turkey agreements and the new Pact, which heralds the next dead immigrants in the Aegean and throughout the Mediterranean.
It is “Europe” in the curtailment of people’s rights and freedoms, with “anti-terrorist” and other laws, with the doctrine “no one is exempt from surveillance”.
But it is also “Europe” in the … unanimity that all the bourgeois political forces show among themselves when it comes to defending the sacred and the faithful of capital’s strategy.
Social democrats of all shades, centrists, rightists and neoliberals vote together on memoranda and anti-people prerequisites for the Recovery Fund, European Directives that are incorporated into national laws, war spending and so on.
This “Europe”, for which ND, SYRIZA, PASOK, New Left, Greek Solution and all other parties are competing, has nothing to do with the interests and needs of the people. It is the Europe of exploitation, poverty, war.
This Europe and its politics must be condemned in the European elections. By voting against all her parties and the supposedly anti-systemic ones who “wash” her.
Strengthening even more the KKE, the only party that consistently reveals the real character of the imperialist – anti-people EU and is the protagonist in the struggle to break its shackles to the people!
