There are no words to explain the blessing of finding your soul mate

--

THE Salma Hayek made a post dedicated to her husband, Francois Henri Pinault.

The famous actress met the French billionaire businessman for the first time in 2006 at the Venice Film Festival. The couple tied the knot on February 14, 2009 and renewed their wedding vows on April 25 of the same year. Two years before their wedding, in 2007, the couple welcomed a daughter.

Captioning the post, the Mexican actress wrote: “There are no words to explain the blessing of finding your soulmate. To all of you who have found her, never take her for granted. For all of you who haven’t found her, never give up.”

The unknown story from her marriage

In an earlier interview with Glamour, Hayek had spoken about her marriage to Francois Henri-Pinot, even revealing an unknown story. In particular, the 57-year-old Hollywood star remembered that she did not have the right to choose, as she was taken to a court. She explained that this happened because she had a phobia about marriage, causing people close to her to take matters into their own hands. “He was trying for quite some time and I would say yes, but then I would disappear. And he didn’t leave when I didn’t show up, he stayed until he did. I was terrified” he had reported then.

“I didn’t even know I was getting married that day. It was like an intervention. I don’t think I’ve ever told that story. No, they just took me to court. My parents, my brother, all of them had cornered me. I had a phobia about marriage. The reason the wedding took place in court was because I was dragged there. I was anxious. And then, we had a meal at my parents’ house. My mother-in-law, who is the most stylish person when it comes to entertaining, had already done her job. I had no choice” he added.
