“How will I send my child to this school again…”, wonders the father of the 12-year-old student, who ended up in the Emergency Department of GN Lamia with a broken tooth, from a classmate’s punch.

In a bloody episode, the fight between two 11- and 12-year-old students of the primary school of Lamia, who had gone on an excursion to the park of Agia Varvara, ended on Wednesday (24/4) in the morning.

Shortly after 12:30 in the afternoon and on the occasion of finding a turtle, the two children came to arms. Finally, the 12-year-old ended up with a broken tooth and abrasions in the Emergency Department of the Lamia Hospital, from where the Police were informed about the incident.

The father of the injured child filed a summons against everyone responsible, while the case is now also being investigated by the Directorate of Primary Education of Fthiotida, as its Director Makis Goumas as soon as he was informed of the incident, he started the prescribed procedure and will probably proceed to EDE since there is also an injury to a student.

In communication that Lamiareport had with the father of the child who ended up in the emergency room of the hospital with a broken tooth and abrasions on his face, he told us:I want to know who is responsible for what happened to my child. We were informed with a long delay by the teachers, who did not even know what exactly happened. My kid has a broken tooth from being punched in the face and from what he told me he was on the ground and the other kid was kicking him in the head. It has scars and the coroner saw it too. Where were the teachers when all this was happening? The child came home covered in blood and terrified. The doctors told us to monitor it for 48 hours for any complications. How am I going to send the kid back to this school after all this?»

According to the report, the side of the 11-year-old student who hit the 12-year-old claims that the 12-year-old grabbed him by the neck and in response hit him to defend himself.

EL.AS is also investigating the matter. which has filed a case file with the statements of all those involved, while a forensic examination of the 12-year-old student who was injured was also ordered.
