On the occasion of the unpleasant events that occurred on Friday, April 19 in the port of Patras regarding cancellations of school trips abroad, we have an obligation to restore the truth regarding the involvement of our agency and to remove any misunderstandings and false impressions that were created:

Patras: Why the planned school trips abroad did not take place, the agencies are to blame

• The travel agency AndMarian Travel, based at 48 Tsamadou Street in Patras, is not the one that undertook the Vrachneika High School trip and consequently any attempt to involve us and associate our activities with the event, can be considered malicious and untrue. The travel agency responsible for what happened is not based in Patras.

• Our agency fully covered the canceled trip of the 2nd Paralia High School to Florence. This trip was canceled following the decision of the parents and the School Management who, for their own fully acceptable and respectful reasons, rejected our proposal to pick up the excursions in Ancona by an Italian bus so that the trip could continue smoothly. Our proposal, which was also ratified during a meeting of the legal representative of AndMarian Travel with parents and teachers on Monday, April 22 at the school, was deemed necessary as a result of an unexpected breakdown of the bus that would transport the excursionists from Patras to Italy according to the travel program. The amount of money paid will be paid in full to the eligible participants.
