• After many years of effort on the issue of the awarding of supplementary pensions to PPC retirees and pressure from all directions, the government, EFKA and parliamentarians, we did indeed have the first results.

As we announced in our announcement 15 days ago, we expected the awarding of supplementary pensions with the new calculation method and indeed thousands of pensioners who retired from 1/11/2020 to 31/12/2023 received part or all of their supplementary pension , (for their working time at PPC).

Those who came out in October 2020 follow the current policy and were paid until D, the rest expect to be paid at the end of May.

Although we searched for details on the method of selection and priority of the processing of pensioners, we did not have answers, that is, why someone who retired in August 2023 was paid and not someone who retired in 2020, 2021 or 2022.

There have been assurances that all retirees will receive their supplementary pensions in the immediate future at least for the years they had at PPC, which will be completed when they are examined in the classic award and control manner.

In any case, our union is in contact with the EFKA services for any other information.
