Affliction to relatives and friends has spread the loss of the smiling Efis Skarpathiotakis who passed away at the age of 54.
Effie leaves behind wife and two children.
Her funeral will take place on Friday (26/4) at 12 noon Holy Church of the Resurrection of the Lord in the New Cemetery of Heraklion.
In its announcement, the Unified Association of Employees of Decentralized Administration of Crete states the following:
“The Board of Directors of the UNIFORM ASSOCIATION OF CRETE DECENTRALIZED GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES held an emergency meeting today, April 25, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in Heraklion, following the sad news of the untimely death of a beloved colleague, FOTEINA (EFIS) SKARPATHIOTAKI of GEORGIOS.
During the meeting, the members of the Board of Directors they referred with deep emotion to Efi’s special ethos, smile and kindness, towards her colleagues and towards the whole world, as well as her unparalleled dedication to duty, which distinguished her during her many years of professional career.
Deeply moved by the great loss of our Effie, we unanimously decided:
1. To express the sincere condolences of all colleagues to her family
2. To attend the Exodus Procession
3. To donate a sum of money in her memory for a charitable purpose, after consultation with her relatives
4. To publish this resolution in the local press”.
