A municipal councilor hit a deputy mayor outside the Magistrate’s Court

An incident between a city councilor and the vice-mayor of Nice unfolded on Thursday morning outside the County Court of the area.

According to information from EL.AS., everything happened around 10:30 a.m. when, for an unknown reason, a municipal councilor attacked the deputy mayor and hit him on the head, with the information stating that the hit was made with a spoon.

The episode occurred while a municipal case was ongoing in the Magistrate’s Court, in which the vice mayor of Infrastructure and Technical Services and the municipal councilor, with the two men belonging to different factions, were “present”.

The deputy mayor was taken to Janeo hospital with bleeding on the forehead. The investigation of EL.AS. for the incident is ongoing.

According to information, the councilor left in an unknown direction after the incident, before men from the DIAS Team arrived at the scene, he has not been located and is being sought
